| Laboratory Facilities |

The curriculum is designed such that the theory learnt by students is well supported by the laboratory in that field. The laboratories are spacious and well furnished with experiments that enhance the understanding of the subject. The laboratories received funds from AICTE and TEQIP for procurement of modern sophisticated equipment. In addition, the department established new laboratories like Refrigeration and Air conditioning Lab, Non-Traditional Machining lab and Thermodynamics Lab from World Bank funds. Recently, RO plant of capacity, 250 litre/ hr is installed in the department to serve the needs of the sophisticated equipment in the laboratories. The laboratories are well utilized by the students, research scholars and faculty.
