Library

The College Library was established in 1965. As the tune with the College and University growth the Library has also grown. By 2004 it has grown to 30,000 volumes and 70 journals. In 2004 the College Library was merged with University Library and renamed as University Library, a central facility for all the units of Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad.

The digital library was setup in 1st floor of college library building with 50 computers in 2016. The Library collection consists of Text books, Reference books, Print Journals, News papers, e-Journals & e-books.

Vision

The Vision for JNTUH College Library is to provide seamless access to information to its users in a networked environment and to become a premier Learning Resource Centre with a services in Engineering, Science & Technology and related areas. To augment and maintain collections in support of the academic pursuits of the college

Mission

The mission of the College Library, JNTUH CEH is to provide access to high quality information resources in all forms to the faculty, students and staff in support of teaching, learning, scholarship and research mission of the College . With a commitment to excellence in services, the College Library offers information resources and innovative services to support the intellectual inquiry, research and lifelong learning needs of JNTUH CEH.

Objectives

To establish and maintain an effective relationship with the students, faculty, researchers and staff of the Institute to ensure an informed and integrated approach to the creation and delivery of information services.
To select, collect, create, organize, preserve, manage and provide access to information sources in print, non-print and digital forms, regardless of physical location, to support scholarly pursuit, learning, teaching and research in the College
To develop and provide quality collections/resources, user facilities and library staff, to maintain an environment conducive to study and research.
To create and deliver a range of networked information and document delivery services that encourage the study, scholarship and collaborative learning.
To manage the information resources effectively and actively promote the optimum usage.
To serve as Learning Resource Centre for knowledge management development in the area of Engineering, Science & Technology and related areas.

Rules & Regulations:

JNTUH Campus Students must show their Identity Card at the Main Entrance of the College Library. Students without Identity Card are not allowed inside the Library.
Do not use pen & pencil inside the text book.
Students must come, on or before Due date. If due date is finished, then students have to return the Textbook.
Outside books/reading material/Mobile/Cell phones/valuable items, etc. are NOT ALLOWED inside the College Library.
All the students are advised to keep their personal belongings, such as brief cases, bags, umbrellas, etc, books not belonging to the College Library and books though borrowed from the library but not meant to be returned to the library, shall be deposited at the Property Counter at the entrance to the library. It is advisable not to bring valuable things to the library and deposit them at the Property Counter
The College Library does not accept any responsibility for any damage or loss of items/ valuable items ie., (Cash, Gold ornaments, Laptops, Calculator, Digital diary, Mobile phone, credit card, etc.) inside their bags kept at Property Counter or inside the College Library.
