National Systems Conference-2014
ABOUT NSC :
The National Systems Conference (NSC) is an annual event of the Systems Society of India (SSI), primarily oriented to strengthen the systems movement and its applications for the welfare of humanity. The first NSC held in 1973 served to create an awareness of Systems Engineering Methodologies amongst planners, designers, builders and operation managers. The NSC is hosted to create platform for the people of scientist, academicians, practice engineers, from diverse background to exchange views, share and bring-out research findings

NSC - 2014:
The aim of the NSC 2014 is create a platform to share and open discussion for academicians, scientists, industry practice engineers their experiences, expertise, new developments on real time systems: Modeling, Analysis and control. It covers broad spectrum of potential areas of research. Original research papers are invited to in the following majors research areas, but not limited to:
Real Time Systems:
It includes modeling, design , implementation issues of real time systems, controllers and applications.
Control Systems Engineering :It includes Continuous, Discrete time systems, Linear/ Non-linear systems and Adaptive Systems, estimation, classical controllers, adaptive controller, robust controller algorithms etc.
Intelligent Systems:
It covers major issues and developments in Neural Networks, Fuzzy Logic Systems, Soft Computing Techniques, Evolutionary Algorithms, Learning, Decision Making, and Neuroeconomics, etc.
Communication Systems:
It covers advances in communications systems, Filtering, Signal processing, estimation techniques etc
Biological System / Cognitive Science:
It includes Biologically inspired approaches for Intelligent Control and Systems, biological engineering, Biometrics, Physiological Processes and Bio-signal Modeling, Non-linear dynamics, Brain Knowledge Discovery and Datamining, Cybernetics and User Interface Technologies, Motion Control, Cognitive Science, Cognitive and Emotional Control, Brain-inspired Intelligent Control Systems.
Computer Science:
Image Processing / Networking / Adhoc Networks / Mobile Computing
Electrical Systems:
It cover the issues in the areas Power Systems operation & Control, Deregulation, Power System Security, Monitoring. Micro Grid, Smart Grid, Renewable Energy Systems, Drives and its related topics.
Renewable Energy Systems
Robotics and Automation:
It covers investigate systems thinking approach for developing models and methods in the field of Robotics and Automation.
Systems Approach to Computational Finance:
It includes the principles of finance combined with mathematical frameworks form useful financial instruments, strategies and models that are tested and implemented using advanced numerical and quantitative techniques. Application of computer technology has become a key throughout the process. These financial instruments, strategies and models form an integral part of overall financial activities. The systems approach which uses economics (for understanding the behavior of the agents), mathematical (for formulating structure) and statistical modeling (for estimation), computer technology (for large scale computation) and several other disciplines is therefore useful to manage these activities. Original research papers are sought on systems approach to solve challenges in computational finance.
Micro Air vehicles / Unmanned vehicles etc.:
It covers modeling, development of MAVs and their applications to social problems.
