Dr. Boodida Sathyanarayana

Dr. Sathyanarayana Boodida obtained his Ph. D. from Kakatiya University in 2007. After his Ph.D., he worked as Research Associate (CSIR) at IIT Bombay for three years and one year as Dr. D. S. Kothari Postdoctoral Fellow at University of Hyderabad. He also qualified NET-JRF (UGC) in 2001 and secured UGC-JRF and UGC-SRF in 2002 and 2004 respectively.

He joined in this Department in January, 2023. Earlier, he worked at Department of Chemistry, JNTUH UCEJ. He has put up 13 years of teaching experience and 18 years of research experience.

ADMINISTRATIVE EXPERIENCE:

In addition to his academic responsibility, he also invovled in administrative responibillities, such as Head of the Department, Hostel affairs as Hostel Manager and Faculty In-charge of Department of Physical Education, NSS Programme Officer and Officer In-charge for Academic Section (OAS) at the institution level at JNTUH UCEJ.

RESEARCH:

In addition to his active contribution towards administration, he also engaged himself in research activitties. His research is devoted to the development of novel organic compounds which are biologically active.

He also contributed as Member of District Level Expert Appriasal Committee (DEAC) for Jagtial District.
